The Tallulah District Office is very active in the annual “Operation Christmas Child.” TLD staff members make monetary donations which provide physical and spiritual aid to hurting people around the world. Pictured are staff members preparing the boxes for delivery.
The TLD staff has also been very active in supporting victims of disasters such as the Moore, Oklahoma tornado incident. Staff donated items needed for families whose homes were destroyed. Pictured are staff members after boxing needy items and preparing them for delivery.
Staff also participate in the annual Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run. Pictures are staff members along with the Richland Parish Sheriff’s Department as they prepare for the Northeast Louisiana leg at Poverty Point Reservoir, Delhi, La.
Another project TLD participates in annually is the Fall Food Roundup for the Baptist Children’s Home in Monroe. The staff brings canned goods and other non-perishable items from home, boxes it up at the office, and takes it to First Baptist Church Tallulah where it is picked up by someone from the Baptist Children’s Home.
